🚗💥 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. On July 25, 2025, a new regulation quietly dropped into the Bundesgesetzblatt: The “𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐤-𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐠”. Sounds boring? It’s not. This is 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 that companies like Ottopia and Vay have been waiting for. Remote-controlled cars - steered by human operators from control centers - are now officially allowed on German roads. No more special permits. No more legal gray zones. It’s go-time. But there’s a catch (a smart one): 🔒 Max speed capped at 80 km/h. 👨✈️ Remote drivers must be 21+, with 3+ years of driving experience and certified training. 📡 Vehicles need real-time data links and special approvals. It’s a 𝟓-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞, but make no mistake: This is a massive leap forward. Germany is the first EU country to give remote driving a proper legal framework. ⚡ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐲? Both have been running trials in Hamburg and Berlin, but now they can scale up. Picture this: 👉 You order a car-sharing EV. 👉 A remote driver steers it through city traffic to your location. 👉 You hop in and drive off yourself. 👉 When you’re done, another remote driver parks it or sends it to the next customer. No in-car driver required. No parking chaos. No more 30% of city traffic spent hunting for parking. Vay already launched such services in Belgium; now Germany is next in line. 🚀 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞? • For cities: Fewer cars parked on streets, cleaner air, less congestion. • For users: Convenience without waiting for autonomous vehicles to catch up. • For the economy: New jobs in tele-driving, tech infrastructure, and fleet services. 🛑 This is 𝙣𝙤𝙩 autonomous driving. It’s human-driven, just remotely. And that changes the entire debate about safety, liability, and readiness. This regulation doesn’t just open doors for Ottopia and Vay. It signals a new era for mobility in Europe. Expect to see more tele-driven ride-shares, deliveries, and rentals in your city soon. The future isn’t self-driving yet. It’s remote-driving: it’s already here. #RemoteDriving #Teleoperation #MobilityRevolution #Germany #Vay #Ottopia #SmartMobility #UrbanTransport #FutureOfDriving #EUtech #Transportation 𝘗𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 (𝘤) 𝘖𝘵𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘢

The largest Last-Mile Logistics infrastructure collaboration in the DACH region 📦📦 In record time, our partnership with myflexbox has grown to over 50 integrated locations across major German cities — and this is only the beginning. By the end of the year, more than +160 myflexbox parcel lockers will be available at Storebox • Urban Logistics sites in Germany and Austria, creating the most densely connected and intelligent Last-Mile and self-storage network in the German-speaking region. This collaboration marks a new milestone for urban logistics. By combining Storebox’s extensive urban and suburban self-storage infrastructure with the open, smart locker network of myflexbox, we are setting new standards for efficiency, sustainability, and customer convenience in the Last Mile. Two Austrian-founded companies, one shared vision: to build a smarter, more sustainable, and more connected future for cities.

Last week at the Axel Springer #aisummit25 in Berlin, one message was clear: AI MUST move from vision to value. Scaling AI is key – the fuel for the AI engine is data: reliable, context-rich, and trusted data, that is, with quality over quantity. Here, Europe can lead the way by providing sectoral data spaces and small data rooms, harmonizing and setting clear standards, helping companies, specifically SMBs to close gaps. The Data Act and Data Governance Act are strong foundations. We now need simplification, interoperability and quick ways for SMBs to join in. Thank you Axel Springer for bringing politics and business together to discuss #AIandData. A strong step toward shaping Europe’s digital future. Too many tools. Too little visibility. Porsche Informatik GmbH was juggling a complex application environment while striving for 99.5% uptime. Their solution? Consolidating monitoring and logging with Datadog. Read the full story and watch the video to see the transformation: https://bit.ly/3UspHef

Wow. Just wow. I’m genuinely impressed by the new OpenAI ChatGPT Agent Mode – and I had to share this demo experience where I gave it a real task and asked it to help me sell an item on eBay Germany. I simply uploaded a few photos of the item, told it I want to sell it on eBay DE – and that was it. ✅ It figured out the exact model (Apple Watch Series 7, 45mm Aluminium, ...) ✅ Noticed the scratches on the display. ✅ Drafted a complete German listing title + description. ✅ Then, after I logged in, I handed back control and it completed the entire listing draft on eBay – autonomously. ✅ All in ~15 minutes (sped up x5 in the video for LinkedIn). This is not just automation. It’s goal-driven interaction with software, and it worked shockingly well and saved me more than 15 minutes. At Reply, we’re already actively leveraging this and other Computer Use Agent capabilities via APIs and tool integrations – for internal workflows, client-facing solutions, and demo applications. And the possibilities keep growing. Have you also tried a Computer Use Agent and what was your impression?

Kicking off the new day with some exciting news: Noxtua and IONOS initiate Germany’s first sovereign Legal AI Factory! Together with Europe’s leading digitalization partner IONOS we will launch the new Legal AI Factory which will be based on the latest NVIDIA DGX B300 systems with Blackwell architecture — one of the most technologically advanced products currently available on the market. This further enables us to set new standards for secure and high-compliance AI in the legal sector. And I won’t get tired of repeating this:Digital sovereignty is becoming increasingly important for Europe, especially in sensitive areas such as the legal system, and we must respond with concrete technical solutions. This is why I’m especially excited about Germany’s first Legal AI Factory. The new AI Factory will be based in Munich, where Noxtua will also open a new office in Munich after announcing Europe’s largest financing round for Legal AI earlier this year.
