Collaboration between health and social services provides concrete answers The Geneva Health Forum is proud to have participated in the organization of the international conference "What models of social-health collaboration to improve health equity?" which was held on October 20 and 21, 2025 in Brussels. At a time when access to healthcare is becoming increasingly difficult, and when health problems are closely linked to social issues, more than one hundred stakeholders from Quebec, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, Morocco, and Cameroon shared their experiences. Many innovative solutions exist and demonstrate their usefulness. The discussions addressed four four key challenges: 1️⃣ Embedding collaboration in local territories 2️⃣ Tools for collaboration (including digital tools) 3️⃣ Governance and sustainability of collaboration 4️⃣ Collaboration and the well-being of professionals The full program can be found at: https://lnkd.in/eiUfjC9M A report on these discussions will be published in early 2026. In parallel with the conference, three visits to healthcare facilities provided an opportunity to discover the dynamism of Brussels stakeholders. • "Entr’Aide des Marolles" Medical Center https://lnkd.in/exTinKMx • "Goujonissimo" Integrated Social Health Center https://goujonissimo.be • "GATE" Low-Risk Consumption Room – Transit asbl https://lnkd.in/eY7pWyPQ The conference continued with "Exiled People's Week." The objective of this student initiative was to strengthen knowledge and connections between the network of stakeholders and future stakeholders in the interdisciplinary care of people in exile in Brussels. Thank you to the entire team at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Health Equity Lab for organizing this event and for their warm welcome. #HealthEquity #SocialHealth #GenevaHealthForum #Collaboration #PublicHealth Céline MahieuJean-Pierre Girard Alexandrine Lapoutte, Ph.D Jamie Lee Fossion Alessandro Cassini Johanna Sommer Yves Jackson Bruno Lab Véronique Maye Dre Sophia Achab-PhD Nicolas Ray Elisabetta Ricci Valérie Bellino Clementine Hilleriteau Nicolas Vignier caroline ANDRE MARYLINE THENOT Jérémie MALEK-LAMY Laëtitia LETHIELLEUX Philippe Schaller Noelia Delicado Thomas Vogel Antoine Bazin W.
