Lactococcosis, caused by Lactococcus garvieae, is an emerging bacterial disease of significant concern in aquaculture. A preprint investigated non-antibiotic therapeutic strategies for controlling lactococcosis in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The researchers evaluated the efficacy of Aloe vera extract, Vitamin E/Selenium supplementation, and multi-strain probiotics against Lactococcus garvieae infection in an experimental setting. 🔗 Read the full study: https://brnw.ch/21wWZkI Authors: Chilukutu Nsamya, Luckson Simbeye, Elias Mapanza, Isaac Simpemba, Kennedy Muzumbwe, Eugene Bwalya, Ntombi Mudenda, Bernard Hang’ombe and Kunda Ndashe A peer-reviewed article of this preprint was published in the Journal of Agricultural and Biomedical Sciences. #Preprints #OpenScience #100Downloads #Aquaculture #SustainableAquaculture

Waiting for journal acceptance after submission? While manuscripts should ideally be submission-ready, mistakes and unnoticed issues can still occur. So, instead of just waiting, here are some things you can do to improve your manuscript further. ✅ Examine in Unique Ways Read through at a steady pace, looking for clunky passages. Change the text formatting (font/size) to spot errors you might have missed. ✅Seek Diverse Feedback Get opinions from colleagues. Also, consider someone less familiar with your topic to ensure your core ideas are clear to follow. Post your work on Preprints.org to increase visibility and get broader feedback from the global community. 📌 Learn more about the tips: https://brnw.ch/21wWXrM #Preprints #OpenScience #AcademicWriting #ResearchTips
