Il servizio di backup e RE supporta i tipi di applicazioni di server Windows che includono Microsoft SQL Server, SMB e file system locali. Prima di poter rilevare e eseguire il backup dei dati di questi host, devi:
Se hai aggiunto il server Windows a Backup e RE come istanza Compute Engine o come VM VMware, esiste già un host per questa VM e non devi aggiungerlo di nuovo utilizzando la procedura riportata di seguito.
Individua e modifica l'host e vai al passaggio 7.
Segui le istruzioni riportate di seguito per aggiungere un nuovo host Windows Server alla console di gestione:
Fai clic su Gestisci>Host.
Seleziona + Aggiungi host.
Nel modulo Aggiungi host, inserisci il nome e un nome visualizzato facoltativo.
Il nome di un host deve iniziare con una lettera e può contenere lettere
e cifre (0-9). I trattini bassi ("_") non sono validi nei nomi host.
Inserisci l'indirizzo IP dell'host in Indirizzo IP. Fai clic sul segno Più (+) per aggiungerlo.
Nella sezione Appliance, seleziona le appliance gestite dalla console di gestione che servono questo host. Se l'elenco è lungo, puoi utilizzare il campo di ricerca per trovare un'appliance o un gruppo di appliance specifico.
Lascia Tipo di host su Generico.
Inserisci le credenziali di rilevamento delle applicazioni per rilevare e proteggere le applicazioni di database sull'host. Questo campo è applicabile solo per i database MariaDB, MaxDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAP ASE e SAP IQ.
Nelle impostazioni dell'agente di Backup e RE, completa quanto segue:
La porta dell'agente di Backup e RE è in genere la porta 5106. In caso contrario, inserisci il numero di porta qui.
Se sono presenti condivisioni CIFS che devono essere rilevate, devi fornire un nome utente e una password che possano accedere a queste condivisioni CIFS.
Se vuoi aggiornare la chiave segreta o se non l'hai aggiunta per la prima volta, puoi aggiungerla nell'host Windows seguendo le istruzioni riportate di seguito.
Fai clic su Gestisci e seleziona Host.
Fai clic con il tasto destro del mouse sull'host Windows e scegli Modifica.
Scorri fino alla sezione Impostazioni agente di backup e DR e trova il campo Secret.
Incolla la chiave segreta che hai salvato in precedenza nel campo Secret (Segreto) e fai clic su Salva. Assicurati che lo stato del certificato diventi Valido.
Trovare log e script sugli host Windows Server
Su un host server Microsoft Windows, i file UDSAgent.log vengono memorizzati in
C:\Program Files\Google Cloud Backup and DR\log
Puoi creare script per eseguire azioni precedenti e successive sulle applicazioni sui tuoi host Windows. Crea una nuova cartella in cui archiviare tutti gli script:
C:\Program Files\Google Cloud Backup and DR\scripts.
Scoprire il file system locale
Per aggiungere file system locali, segui queste istruzioni:
Scopri il file system locale in uno dei seguenti modi:
Vai a Backup e ripristino e seleziona Esegui il backup.
Vai a Gestore app, fai clic su Applicazioni e seleziona
Aggiungi applicazione.
Seleziona il riquadro Tutte le app. Se selezioni il riquadro Tutte le app, puoi anche trovare le app Microsoft SQL Server.
Una volta rilevati i file system locali, puoi trovarli utilizzando il
filtro File system nella pagina Applicazioni.
Indirizzo IP del punto di accesso al servizio per il supporto del cluster
Se un file system è una risorsa del cluster e vuoi che venga eseguito il backup indipendentemente dal nodo del cluster che lo ospita, specifica l'indirizzo IP della risorsa del cluster come indirizzo IP del punto di accesso al servizio. In questo modo, l'appliance di backup/ripristino può connettersi all'agente di backup e RE utilizzando l'IP della risorsa del cluster e eseguire il backup del file system dal nodo del cluster attivo.
Affinché il backup funzioni correttamente su tutti i nodi del cluster, l'agente di backup e RE deve essere installato su tutti i nodi del cluster.

Ensure the certificate status changes to **Valid**.\n\nFind logs and scripts on Windows server hosts\n---------------------------------------------\n\nOn a Microsoft Windows server host, UDSAgent.logs are stored in\n`C:\\Program Files\\Google Cloud Backup and DR\\log`\n\nYou can create scripts to perform pre- and post- actions on applications on your\nWindows hosts. Create a new folder in which to store all scripts:\n`C:\\Program Files\\Google Cloud Backup and DR\\scripts`.\n| **Note:** The Backup and DR agent can be firewalled out if the host joins a domain after the Backup and DR agent has been installed. If this happens, uninstall and then re-install the Backup and DR agent.\n\nDiscover local file system\n--------------------------\n\nUse these instructions to add local file systems, you must do the following:\n\n1. Discover the local file system in either of these ways:\n\n - Go to **Back up \\& Recover** and select **Back up**.\n\n - Go to **App Manager** , click **Applications** , and then select\n **Add application**.\n\n2. Select the **All Apps** tile. If you select the **All Apps** tile you\n also discover Microsoft SQL Server apps.\n After the local file systems are discovered, you can find them using the\n file system filter in the **Applications** page.\n\nService access point IP address for cluster support\n---------------------------------------------------\n\nIf a file system is a cluster resource and if you want it to be backed up\nirrespective of which cluster node is hosting the file system, specify the\nCluster resource IP address as a Service Access Point IP.
