We challenged the Toucan scanner with three complex black objects—a nightmare for traditional scanners due to light absorption. The results highlight its blue light technology. The shorter wavelength provides higher precision and resists ambient light interference, capturing what others miss. It perfectly handles: • High Reflectivity: The dragon pendant's gloss, without blown-out highlights. • Zero Reflectivity: The matte shoe, digitized with perfect geometry. • Complex Textures: Every scale on the dragon statue, clearly defined. This isn't just impressive—it's practical. It unlocks new potential for product design, VFX, and preservation, removing material barriers to digitization.
