This incredible undertaking was made possible by a cluster of 432 small, walking displacement robots. Each robot carried a portion of the massive weight, utilizing track and wheel composite drive technology for precise movement. What's truly innovative is that these robots could automatically compensate for ground elevation changes, ensuring stability and accuracy throughout the process. This project offers an ingenious solution for construction in Shanghai's narrow, older districts and sets a new precedent for the protective relocation of historic buildings.

They're essential for robots that clean or sandblast ships, helping them stick firmly and climb vertically on the ship's side. These wheels use strong Neodymium magnets. In this video, we show you a pull test on a CCmagnetics WM180 Hanging magnetic wheel to demonstrate its strength. We test on a 15mm thick AH36 steel plate, the same strong material used for most ship hulls. This test shows you exactly how well these wheels perform on real ship surfaces. Watch as we gradually increase the pulling force until the wheel separates from the steel plate. You'll see the force measured live and the moment it lets go! The test result gives you the pull force in kgf, which can be converted to the wheel's lifting capacity in kilograms.
