We are deeply saddened by the passing of Louis Schweitzer, who served as Chairman and CEO of the Group from 1992 to 2005. The Board of Directors, the management team, and all Renault Group employees pay tribute to his memory. We will remember him as a visionary and courageous leader whose commitment and high standards helped modernize and internationalize the Group, through landmark achievements such as the launches of the Twingo and Mégane, the acquisition of Dacia, and the creation of the Renault-Nissan Motor Corporation strategic Alliance. He also championed a human-centered approach to business, combining strong economic performance with social responsibility. Today, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones, honoring his legacy with deep respect and gratitude.

Renault Group and GEELY join forces in Brazil. The two partners have signed agreements under which Geely will take a 26.4% stake in Renault do Brasil, with Renault remaining the majority shareholder. Geely gains access to Renault do Brasil’s industrial complex in São José dos Pinhais, Curitiba, and entrusts its vehicle distribution to Renault’s sales network. Renault do Brasil will produce both Renault and Geely-branded zero and low-emission vehicles at its Curitiba plant, using Geely’s GEA new energy architecture. This partnership strengthens both brands in Brazil, a market representing over 40% of vehicle registrations in Latin America, accelerates Renault Group’s international development, and opens new growth opportunities in production, sales, and services.
