After the elections, the Congress emerged as the largest party, and Kedar Pandey was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar (19 March 1972- 02 July 1973), after Abdul Gafoor become the Chief Minister of Bihar from ( 02 July 1973-11 April 1975) and also Jagannath Mishra became the Chief Minister of Bihar from (11 April 1975-30 April 1977 ).
