- Ženská čtyřhra Volvo Car Open 2017 probíhala v první polovině dubna 2017. Do deblové soutěže charlestonského tenisového turnaje, hraného na zelené antuce, nastoupilo šestnáct dvojic. Obhájcem titulu byl francouzský pár složený ze světové dvojky Kristiny Mladenovicové a trojky Caroline Garciaové, jehož členky do deblové soutěže nezasáhly. Vítězem se stal nejvýše nasazený americko-český pár Bethanie Matteková-Sandsová a Lucie Šafářová, který ve finále zdolal české turnajové čtyřky Lucii Hradeckou s Kateřinou Siniakovou výsledkem 6–1, 4–6 a [10–7]. Obě šampionky si do žebříčku WTA připsaly 470 bodů a získaly jubilejní desátou společnou trofej a druhou v probíhající sezóně. Matteková-Sandsová vybojovala dvacátý pátý deblový titul na okruhu WTA Tour a pro Šafářovou to bylo čtrnácté takové turnajové vítězství a po týdnu návrat na druhou příčku deblového žebříčku WTA. Siniaková s Hradeckou odešly i potřetí v probíhající sezóně z finále poraženy. (cs)
