- Die Halsamphora des Exekias ist eine Amphora im schwarzfigurigen Stil des attischen Töpfers und Vasenmalers Exekias. Sie befindet sich im Besitz der Antikensammlung Berlin, wo sie unter der Katalognummer F 1720 geführt und im Alten Museum ausgestellt ist. Sie zeigt auf einer Seite den Kampf des Herakles mit dem nemeischen Löwen, auf der anderen Seite Akamas und Demophon, die Söhne des Theseus. Die Theseussöhne werden auf dieser Vase erstmals in der attischen Kunst gezeigt. (de)
- The Neck Amphora by Exekias is a neck amphora in the black figure style by the Attic vase painter and potter Exekias. It is found in the possession of the Antikensammlung Berlin under the inventory number F 1720 and is on display in the Altes Museum. It depicts Herakles' battle with the Nemean lion on one side and the sons of Theseus on the other (their earliest appearance in Athenian art). The amphora could only be restored for the first time almost a hundred and fifty years after its original discovery due to negligence and political difficulties. (en)
