- قرار مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة رقم 1463، المتخذ بالإجماع في 30 كانون الثاني / يناير 2003، بعد الإشارة إلى جميع القرارات السابقة بشأن الوضع في الصحراء الغربية، ولا سيما القرار 1429 (2002)، مدد المجلس ولاية بعثة الأمم المتحدة للاستفتاء في الصحراء الغربية لمدة شهرين حتى 31 مارس 2003. مدد مجلس الأمن عملية البعثة لمنح المغرب وجبهة البوليساريو الوقت للنظر في المقترحات التي قدمها الأمين العام مبعوثه الشخصي جيمس بيكر للتوصل إلى حل سياسي للنزاع. نص الاقتراح على تقرير المصير لشعب الصحراء الغربية. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، طُلب من الأمين العام كوفي عنان تقديم تقرير بحلول 17 آذار / مارس 2003 عن الحالة. - La Resolució 1463 del Consell de Seguretat de les Nacions Unides, adoptada per unanimitat el 30 de gener de 2003 després de reafirmar totes les resolucions anteriors del Sàhara Occidental, en particular la Resolució 1429 (2002) el consell va ampliar el mandat de la Missió de Nacions Unides pel Referèndum al Sàhara Occidental (MINURSO) per dos mesos fins al 31 de març de 2003. El Consell de Seguretat va ampliar l'operació de la MINURSO per permetre que Marroc i el Front Polisario consideressin les propostes presentades per l'Enviat Personal del Secretari General de les Nacions Unides James Baker III per a una solució política a la disputa. La proposta preveia l'autodeterminació del poble del Sàhara Occidental. A més, es va demanar al secretari general [Kofi Annan] que presentés un informe per 17 de març de 2003 sobre la situació. (ca)

- United Nations Security Council resolution 1463, adopted unanimously on 30 January 2003, after recalling all previous resolutions on the situation in Western Sahara, particularly Resolution 1429 (2002), the Council extended the mandate of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) for two months until 31 March 2003. The Security Council extended the MINURSO operation to allow Morocco and the Polisario Front time to consider proposals presented by the Secretary-General's Personal Envoy James Baker III for a political solution to the dispute. The proposal provided for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara. In addition, the Secretary-General Kofi Annan was asked to submit a report by 17 March 2003 on the situation. (en)
