The world's best U21 football player on campus: Vicky López ⚽️🏆    Vicky joined our CEO Bjørn Gulden on stage at our global HQ to share her remarkable journey – from being crowned Golden Girl in 2024 to becoming the first woman ever to claim the renowned Kopa Trophy just a few weeks back. 🙌    At just 19, Vicky has already made history by breaking age records and dazzling fans with her technique, confidence, and attacking flair.    Her sources of inspiration and strength? adidas celebrates Global Week of Inclusion 2025 🌍✨ This year, our teams worldwide united under the theme “Unlocking a World of Abilities” – celebrating disability inclusion, leading the charge for equity, and belonging in sports. At our HQ in Germany, our CEO Bjørn Gulden opened the week together with Vanessa Abrahams-John, SVP HR NAM & Global DEI. They were joined by employee panelists as well as Paralympians Lauren Rowles and Josia Topf, who shared their personal journeys. Our teammates got hands-on with inclusive sports like wheelchair basketball and teamed up with Special Olympics athletes for some table tennis and boccia. Around the world, teams brought this spirit to life in unique ways. From teams across Japan, China, Korea, Latin America, North America, and Emerging Markets, we hosted Paralympians, explored adaptive sports, learned from lived experiences, and created spaces where every ability had access and a sense of belonging through sports. Whether it was blind soccer in Tokyo, “Running in the Dark” in China, futsal in Seoul, challenging stereotypes in Latin America, or experiencing wheelchair basketball in North America and Germany – the energy was global, the impact personal. #inside3stripes
