Following our initial announcement as a proud partner of the Humanitarian Caravan Bouvier Rallye, we are pleased to spotlight some of BASF’s Morocco contributions to this initiative: the installation of three solar panels and solar-powered water pumps. This system now provides clean, reliable water access to the local community of Merzouga city (Southeastern Morocco), powered entirely by the sun. This initiative reflects BASF’s broader commitment to sustainability. We invest in solar parks, offshore wind farms, and green power agreements to power our global operations. These efforts support water-related applications by ensuring clean energy for treatment, pumping, and industrial processes. We also supply high-purity salts for Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) systems, enabling energy storage and continuous water access, even when the sun isn’t shining. More updates will follow, highlighting other aspects of our support to the Caravan and the impact we are making together. 🔗 Visit our websites to learn more about our Storing Sunshine project in Morocco and our Sustainability initiatives for Water Management: Storing Sunshine: https://rb.gy/3cq6el Water Sustainability: https://lnkd.in/exUXWGiK

BASF in Morocco is a proud partner of the Humanitarian Caravan Bouvier Rallye, an initiative dedicated to supporting remote communities in the South of Morocco.    Together, we’re delivering essential food supplies and installing solar energy panels to bring light, hope, and sustainable solutions where they’re needed most.   Our commitment goes beyond chemistry, it’s about creating real impact and building a better future for everyone. Innovation and compassion can truly go hand in hand. 🌱💡   👉 Want to learn more about this inspiring journey? CEO of BASF

First things first: BASF will start buying back shares as of November 2025. Initially planned from 2027, this is a considerable acceleration. But that's not the only news. In the past weeks, we also made big progress in unlocking value from our standalone businesses and solidly performed in a persistently low-demand environment – slightly better than analysts had expected. Here are my key points from the past quarter. As always: to the point in two minutes and three hashtags 👇 #makeitcount #WinningWays

#StartingVentures #basf #socialimpact

Change in leadership at BASF communications: Nina Schwab-Hautzinger, Head of Corporate Communications & Government Relations, will leave BASF effective January 31, 2026, to take on a new professional opportunity. The company will announce the successor in due course. Markus Kamieth, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE, said: “During her five years at BASF, Nina Schwab-Hautzinger has successfully advanced and modernized our corporate communications. She has represented BASF’s values both internally and externally with impact, and together with her team has further strengthened the company’s reputation. She demonstrated strong leadership during the challenging period of the energy crisis. Communication was also a key success factor during the CEO transition and the launch of our corporate ‘Winning Ways’ strategy. I truly enjoyed working with her and regret that she will be leaving BASF. I wish her all the best for her next role.” Nina Schwab-Hautzinger has led BASF’s Corporate Communications & Government Relations unit since 2020. Prior to that, she held various international leadership positions at healthcare company Roche in Switzerland and Germany, as well as at a strategic communications consultancy in Singapore. She studied at the universities of Mannheim and Waterloo, Canada, and earned her doctorate from the University of Zurich.
