✨Highlighting Slicer in Power BI A new interaction feature released in October 2025 makes Button Slicer even cooler. You can now automatically highlight buttons (not only filter) based on selections in other visuals. Step 1: Add a Visual and Button Slicer Create a visual (i.e. Sales split by Category) and a slicer (i.e. Subcategory) Step 2: Define the Highlight Label In the Button Slicer settings, assign the same field to the Highlight label as the one used in your target visual. This ensures that sorting or filtering in that chart will trigger visual feedback in the slicer. Step 1: Open Admin Portal in Fabric Go to Settings → Governance and insights → Admin portal. Only admins can create organizational themes. Step 2: Add a new theme Open the Themes section, click Add new theme, and upload your JSON file. Step 3: Name and describe Give your theme a clear Name and optional Description - this helps users choose the right one. Step 4: Enable for Theme gallery Turn on Enable for theme gallery.
