  • This October, our Frankfurt team came together for an important cause: breast cancer awareness and early detection🩷 As part of our health management programme, our colleague Sylvia Zwölfer organised a special 'Pinktober' initiative. The highlight? An insightful talk by Diana Amanda Wright from dasBUUSENKOLLEKTIV, covering everything you need to know about breast cancer screening. An important reminder: early detection matters for everyone, including men. Following the session, the team rallied together, baking and selling pink waffles to raise funds for the cause. The result? Over €600 donated to support breast cancer awareness. ✨ At Miles & More GmbH, we believe that looking after our people means supporting their wellbeing in every dimension – physical, mental and emotional. Initiatives like these remind us that small actions can create meaningful impact. A huge thank you to Sylvia and Diana for their dedication and to everyone who contributed. One project we're particularly proud to support is "Perspectives & Tourism" in Punta Arena, a coastal community near Cartagena in Colombia. This initiative addresses critical challenges – from poverty and limited education to climate change and gender inequality.     Since 2023, participants have earned up to 20% extra miles and Points with Green Fares. Building on this, rewards now extend to freely configurable offsetting packages – making responsible choices more visible, simple, and rewarding.   As the loyalty program of the Lufthansa Group, we support the Group’s goal to achieve CO₂ neutrality by 2050. With Miles & More, our members can be part of this transformation by offsetting the CO₂ emissions of their flights.   The mechanism at a glance: 🧳 Seamless integration across the journey: add offsetting packages during booking, before departure, during, or after the flight via the Miles & More app – without disrupting existing workflows.   🌿 Dual compensation model: a combination of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and contributions to the Lufthansa Group’s high-quality climate project portfolio ensures credible, lifecycle-based CO₂ balancing. As a “drop‑in” fuel, SAF is blended with conventional kerosene and fed into Lufthansa Group operations within six months of purchase.   🏆 Transparent reward logic: depending on SAF share, members can earn up to 80% more Points (including Qualifying Points) and up to 20% more HON Circle Points – plus up to 6 miles per 1 Euro spent. Higher SAF share, higher Points. 🕓 Retroactive crediting: offsetting packages purchased since January 2025 are credited automatically, ensuring past decisions are recognized.
