In line with the EU Instant Payments Regulation, N26 has introduced new features to make sending and receiving money easier and safer for our customers. Here’s what’s new 📱: 🔒 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁 - 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 Whenever you initiate a fund transfer, N26 now automatically checks if the recipient’s name and IBAN fully match, partially match, or don’t match, giving you all the information you need to review and edit the details, cancel the transfer or decide to proceed with the payment before you confirm the transfer. 💬 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗜𝗕𝗔𝗡 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 N26 also provides verification of non-IBAN payments like N26’s Moneybeam or Bizum by displaying a shortened version of the payee's legal name, so you can confirm that your fund transfer is going to the right person. ⚡ 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 Now, it’s even easier to set your own daily or per-payment limits for instant transfers, so you can be fully in control of how much you send. You can also schedule recurring payments to be executed within seconds, which was previously possible only with regular SEPA transfers and not standing orders. ✅📲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 N26 now sends you a push notification as soon as your instant payment successfully reaches the payee. Today, we announced that Valentin Stalf, co-founder of N26, has decided to take the next step in his journey and transition to N26’s Supervisory Board.
