🎷The Enjoy Jazz Festival stops by PHOENIX in Mannheim🎷 As the main sponsor of the Enjoy Jazz Festival, we had the pleasure of hosting a special event in our coworking space on the Mannheim campus yesterday. Thomas D. and the KBCs performed an inspiring mix of hip hop and jazz! Alongside this amazing performance, a diverse supporting programme offered plenty to discover and, hopefully, inspired even those who would not call themselves jazz enthusiasts. 😊 We particularly enjoyed the Talk with Aida Baghernejad and the Live Act with Julian Maier-Hauff. 🔔 Executive Board Change at PHOENIX group We would like to inform our network about a change in the Executive Board of PHOENIX group, effective 1 February 2026. At their own request, Steve Anderson and Stefan Herfeld will step down from their roles on the Executive Board. Steve will fully resume his position as Managing Director of PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd, while Stefan will leave PHOENIX to pursue his career outside the group. We thank Steve and Stefan not only for their strategic contributions to PHOENIX, but also for their collegiality, and the spirit of partnership they brought to the Executive Board. Their leadership has significantly shaped our group’s development across Europe. We are pleased to announce that Joachim Sowada and Wolfgang Wallisch will join the Executive Board as successors. Joachim will assume responsibility for Operations & Logistics, and Wolfgang will take over the Commercial & Marketing portfolio. Both will continue in their current roles as Managing Directors of PHOENIX Pharma Italia and PHOENIX Pharma Gyógyszerkereskedelmi Zrt. in Hungary, respectively. This ensures that our strategic leadership remains closely connected to the day-to-day operations of our local businesses. We wish Steve and Stefan all the best for their next chapters. Großbrand im PHOENIX Vertriebszentrum Freiburg – Ein schwarzer Tag in unserer Unternehmensgeschichte In der Nacht von Mittwoch auf Donnerstag vergangener Woche wurde unser Vertriebszentrum in Freiburg-Hochdorf durch einen verheerenden Brand vollständig zerstört. Es ist eines von 19 PHOENIX Vertriebszentren in Deutschland. Auch viele weitere Unternehmen auf dem rund 60.000 Quadratmeter großen Gewerbeareal wurden schwer getroffen. Die Brandursache ist bislang ungeklärt. Die größte Erleichterung: Keiner unserer Mitarbeitenden wurde verletzt. Unsere Geschäftsführung war noch in der Nacht vor Ort. In den darauffolgenden Tagen zeigte sich eindrucksvoll, was unser Leitsatz #wePHOENIX bedeutet: Ein hochprofessionelles, engagiertes Zusammenspiel aller Bereiche in der Taskforce, große Anteilnahme unserer Kolleg:innen und des Betriebsrats – ein echtes Miteinander in schwierigen Zeiten. Unser tiefster Dank gilt den Einsatzkräften von Polizei und Feuerwehr für ihren unermüdlichen Einsatz über fast zwei Tage hinweg. So schwer dieser Tag war – wir haben eine unglaubliche Solidarität und Gemeinschaft erlebt. Dank des Zusammenhalts im PHOENIX Team und der Unterstützung unserer Kunden können wir die Apotheken in der Region Freiburg bereits heute wieder wie gewohnt beliefern. 🚀 2025 LEAN Award    We introduced lean management in our organisation two years ago and created an award to celebrate shopfloor projects that have embraced the lean management spirit and advance our organisation.     Today, we are announcing the winners of this year’s PHOENIX group LEAN Award!     🏆Operations & Logistics: Distribution Centre New Amsterdam, The Netherlands  The Dutch team demonstrated transformational leadership and achieved a cultural shift that can really be felt: LEAN principles are everywhere – from the shopfloor to offices.
