🚀 New Use Case Published: Quantum Systems x Cleartopia Solutions™ In the aftermath of the Norfolk Southern train derailment, Cleartopia Solutions supported the Village of East Palestine, Ohio, with a large-scale aerial mapping project using the Quantum Systems Trinity Pro eVTOL drone. Drone Defence in Action.   Lt Gen Holger "HAWK" Neumann, Chief of the Luftwaffe - German Airforce, welcomed Ambassadors of the NATO North Atlantic Council at Tactical Air Wing 74 in Neuburg an der Donau, where we demonstrated three of our systems in flight — showcasing how innovation from Germany strengthens the Alliance’s deterrence and defence.   Quantum Systems was selected as a company to display the successes of the German defence industry over recent months and years.   Our aerial reconnaissance system VECTOR, with over 1,000 units deployed in Ukraine, continues to evolve through 24/7 frontline feedback. Our interceptor drone reaches speeds above 500 km/h and operates at altitudes of 4,000–5,000 m. The visit took place in the context of recent drone sightings over critical infrastructure – and focused on how technology made in Bavaria can strengthen Germany’s and Europe’s security. Bavaria aims to be Germany’s No. 1 in security – and Quantum Systems contributes to that vision through: 🔹 Production of next-generation unmanned systems for reconnaissance and counter-UAS missions 🔹 AI-powered mission software for real-time situational awareness and autonomous operations 🔹 Plans to expand industrial capacity in Bavaria and the creation of new jobs in the drone and robotics sector. Building the Drone Wall – an Industry Perspective Today, our Co-CEO Sven Kruck joined Anders Fogh Rasmussen (former NATO Secretary General and Danish Prime Minister) for a press conference on the Drone Wall for NATO’s and the EU’s Eastern Flank. From Quantum Systems’ perspective, three points are essential: 1️⃣ Comprehensive Defense The Drone Wall must go beyond countering hostile drones. Modern border defense requires a multi-layered approach: reconnaissance from space to ground, sensor fusion across thousands of kilometers, and the ability to cost-effectively intercept before threats reach European soil. Reconnaissance comes first – because you cannot intercept what you cannot see. 2️⃣ Automation & Scale The Eastern Flank stretches over 4,000 km. Patrolling it with manpower alone is impossible. Automated and autonomous systems are the only cost-effective answer. Quantum Systems has such systems – automated today, designed for full autonomy tomorrow, based on learnings from Ukraine, and crucially: we can produce them at scale. 3️⃣ European Responsibility: For Europe by Europe Defending Europe is Europe’s responsibility. The Drone Wall must be built with European technology, supply chains, and industry – backed by EU, NATO and member state commitments that give industry the certainty to invest and scale. This will by necessity be a multinational, multi-company effort. Drones don’t stop at borders – and neither can our defense.
