Zwischen Aufrüstung und Abschottung – der neue prmagazin-Pressestellentest   Diesmal im Fokus: die Rüstungsindustrie Angesichts milliardenschwerer Aufrüstungsprogramme wollten wir wissen, wie transparent die Branche über Kapazitäten, Risiken und die globale Konkurrenz spricht.   💥 Die Bilanz? Ernüchternd. Mehr als die Hälfte der getesteten Pressestellen liefert entweder gar keine Antwort oder bleibt inhaltlich an der Oberfläche. Die Bestnote „Erstklassig“ schafft kein Kandidat, dafür kassieren 8 (!) Unternehmen die schlechteste Bewertung „Katastrophal“.   Die Top 3: 🥇 Dr. Jan-Phillipp Weisswange Weisswange für Rheinmetall Gute Antworten, vor allem auf die Faktenfragen, aber: Statt eigener Einschätzungen gab’s nur Hinweise auf Archivmaterial. Noch mehr Service, und es hätte zur Bestnote gereicht. Gesamtnote „Sehr gut“. 🥈 Lothar Belz für HENSOLDT Knackige, zitierfähige Antworten, zuverlässig geliefert. Etwas mehr Kontext und Einordnung hätten das Ergebnis abgerundet. Alles in allem: „Sehr gut“. 🥉 Benjamin Seebach für die RENK Group Starke inhaltliche Tiefe im Hintergrundgespräch, gute schriftliche Zusammenfassung – aber schlechte Erreichbarkeit und eine späte Reaktion kosten Punkte. Über 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁ä𝘁 wird gerne viel geschrieben. Im wirklichen Leben jedoch zeigt sie sich erst dort wirklich, wo sie sich seit Jahrzehnten und unter härtesten Bedingungen beweisen muss. Im Rahmen meines Austausches mit dem COO der RENK Group, Dr. Emmerich Schiller, wurde einmal mehr deutlich: 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁ä𝘁 und 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗸𝗲𝗶𝘁 stehen für unsere Unternehmen im Fokus. Wesentliche Renk-Bauteile (großtechnische Kupplungen), die 1965 bzw. 1974 in den Schluchseewerk-Pumpspeichern Bad Säckingen und Wehr eingebaut wurden und dort ihren Dienst tun, belegen dies ebenso eindrücklich wie die hervorragende Zusammenarbeit beider Unternehmen beim Service. Deshalb freute es mich sehr, Emmerich persönlich in Wehr begrüßen zu dürfen um gemeinsam vor Ort hautnah zu erleben, welche gewaltigen Kräfte diese Bauteile bei jedem Betriebsartenwechsel standhalten müssen. Mit einer Übertragungsleistung von bis zu 250 Megawatt wirken tagtäglich enorme Kräfte auf die Anlagenteile, die zwischen Turbine und Generator sitzen und seit vielen Jahrzehnten (mehr als 100.000 Betriebsstunden) zuverlässig, stabil und leistungsfähig arbeiten. Bei den Kupplungen handelt es sich um Spezialkonstruktionen für die große Leistungsklasse der zivilen Anwendung von Renk. Und da jeder Betriebsartenwechsel vom jeweiligen Bedarf im deutschen Stromnetz abhängt, auf den unsere Pumpspeicher schnell, spürbar und als maßgeblichen Beitrag zur Versorgungssicherheit reagieren, sind auch die Kupplungen der Renk Group ein wichtiges Zahnrad im Getriebe der deutschen 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲.

RENK Group was invited to present together with Roland Sievert from Siemens Energy on: 🗣 “Strategic assets for grid stability: power plants with synchronous clutches” With synchronous clutches you can use the same power train more #flexible to manage the increasingly #volatile power and heat demand and to support #grid stability. Synchronous clutches screw in automatically as soon as they reach synchronous speed. This allows you to operate only the machines of the power train that are really needed to fulfill the actual demand. The result is more #economic power generation, heat utilization, long term energy storage and grid stabilization.
