After sharing our behind-the-scenes insights, the moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived: the video about our unique project with Weleda AG is live! 🎥 ✨ What makes this project so special? Weleda's sustainable logistics campus in Schwäbisch Gmünd demonstrates modern intralogistics in action. A high-bay warehouse made of wood, a façade made of regional stamped clay and a supply system powered entirely by geothermal energy and photovoltaics are combined with state-of-the-art conveyor technology and six energy-efficient stacker cranes. Incidentally, the colour coding of the devices represents Weleda's fragrance worlds: Energy, Relax, Love and Harmony. 🌈 This project shows that ecological responsibility and technical innovation go hand in hand. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃ü𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐟, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.   A few days ago, we reached a remarkable milestone: the installation of a 51-meter-high steel chimney on our site. The heart of a brand-new energy center jointly developed by Henkel and Stadtwerke Düsseldorf.   As someone working at the intersection of customer experience and sustainability, it’s powerful to see how industrial innovation can directly contribute to local wellbeing, and climate impact. So, it's not just that we talk about it, it's actually happening!   Starting in early 2026, Henkel will feed industrial waste heat from the production site into the district heating network, helping cover up to 35% of the heating demand in Düsseldorf’s south and cutting CO₂ emissions by around 6,500 tons annually. All in a place that once stored coal.   This is sustainability in action!   Partnerships like these show what’s possible when business, politics, and society pull in the same direction.
