iGEM 2012 team Evry - Gold medal, Best Model and Best Human Practice
MIT - iGEM
The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition is a worldwide synthetic biology competition. During summer, we created the first Standard Biological Parts for Xenopus and a synthetic orthogonal hormonal system to link them together. We also created new tools for modeling the tadpole physiology, assemble multiple parts in a single shot, wrote a guidebook to help future teams with Xenopus and studied the consequences of the arrival of vertebrates in iGEM.
