🆕 Spotlight on-It´s time to introduce you to another CoremanNet selection station. The station in United Kingdom is one of our 18 stations and is strategically located in Birmingham, inside the so-called Golden Logistics Triangle, enabling us to reach 90% of the UK population within just four hours. With five operational workplaces and a maximum capacity of over one million used parts per year, we serve customers across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland with speed and efficiency.   Our UK pre-selection facility enables direct ownership transfer from #wholesalers to #remanufacturers with minimal administrative effort. By pre-qualifying cores prior to international cross border shipment, we ensure that only verified, remanufacturable units cross borders. This approach simplifies customs procedures, guarantees accurate declarations, and provides our customers with complete regulatory assurance throughout the supply chain. Soon there will be also new #AI cameras for sorting in the selection station. We are proud of the positive impact our network has on #sustainability and the #circular economy. ZF took part in the annual sustainability reassessment of the ESG rating agency EcoVadis in July. Our company significantly improved on last year's already good result. We are excited to announce that ZF achieved a rating of 80/100 points, which was awarded with the gold medal. EcoVadis assesses how well a company integrates sustainability into its business and management system, as well as its practical implementation, based on documented evidence. The evaluation is divided into the four themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. With the 80-point rating, ZF is in the 97th percentile of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis in the last 12 months across all industries (150,000+ companies in 185+ countries and 250+ industries). In the Automotive Supply Industry, ZF is in the top 1 percent. The bar of sustainability requirements is increasing every year and the EcoVadis rating is becoming more and more important for our customers and investors. Last week we hosted a hands-on workshop at our office in Karlsruhe. Together with our DiCiM Project partners from Technische Universität Chemnitz we are working optimizing sorting in our #selection stations with the support of Augmented Reality (#AR). At the workshop we had the opportunity to test the interface between the AR-glasses and CoremanNet.    We have achieved great results and the next step is testing the #technology in a real sorting environment of a selection station in autumn.   It was a great experience testing the AR-goggles at our standard workplace in Karlsruhe. We are looking forward to be able to continue developing this project together! #innovation #DiCiM #CircularEconomy #Automotive
