Cybersecurity has moved from the server room to the boardroom. 🤝 At this year’s it-sa Expo&Congress, one thing became clear: IT security is no longer just a technical topic, it’s a core business issue. With around 23% of visitors coming from C-level management, cybersecurity has firmly established itself on the executive agenda. A key highlight this year: CIOmatch, the exclusive networking and dialogue format that brought together more than 50 top CIOs, CISOs and digital leaders from leading companies and institutions. In high-level keynotes, panels and guided tours, they discussed the most pressing strategic challenges: from resilience and AI security to transforming IT into a true value driver. These developments make it-sa Expo&Congress more relevant than ever for top management. It’s not just a trade fair for IT security. It’s the place where security decision-makers meet to shape the strategic future of cybersecurity. 🦾 #itsaexpo

🌍 Course set for even closer international cooperation in cybersecurity! This year’s it-sa Expo&Congress was not only about innovations and dialogue, it also marked a milestone for international collaboration. During the event, Thomas Preutenborbeck from NürnbergMesse Group, and Joanna Świątkowska, PhD from the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), signed a Letter of Intent to deepen the strategic partnership between NürnbergMesse and ECSO. The goal: to further strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem through cross-border exchange and joint initiatives. 🤝 In addition, a new event partnership with the Swiss Cyber Security Days was announced — a key step in expanding collaboration between Germany and Switzerland and connecting the European cybersecurity community even more closely. As Joanna Świątkowska, PhD highlighted during her appearance at the it-sa Expo&Congress press conference and in our latest interview, fostering cooperation between public and private actors across Europe is essential to building a resilient and secure digital future. 👉 Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/eaEbnCMb #itsaexpo #itsa365 © NM, 2025.
