Beim Googlebot handelt es sich um den Crawler, der Webseiten aufruft, um sie in den Google-Suchindex aufzunehmen. Die Frage, die uns von der Community bei Veranstaltungen und über die sozialen Medien am häufigsten gestellt wurde, war: "Kann der Googlebot regelmäßig an die jeweils aktuelle Chromium-Version angepasst werden, damit er ein Evergreen wird?" Wir freuen uns, euch heute mitteilen zu können, dass der Googlebot jetzt Seiten für die Google Suche mit der neuesten Rendering-Engine von Chromium (zum Zeitpunkt dieses Posts: Version 74) rendert. In Zukunft wird die Rendering-Engine des Googlebots, wie von euch gewünscht, regelmäßig aktualisiert. So können wir dafür sorgen, dass immer die neuesten Webplattformfunktionen unterstützt werden.
Welche Vorteile hat das für euch?
Im Vergleich zur vorherigen Version unterstützt der Googlebot jetzt mehr als 1.000 neue Funktionen, darunter:
