Today, we have released our Q3 results. 2025 is a transition year where our key focus is to improve our financial performance. While our Q3 results are mostly in line with expectations, the pace of our transition is not yet where it needs to be, and therefore we have initiated a cost reduction programme to accelerate the transition and stay competitive in changing markets. "Sadly, this means we have to reduce our workforce and part ways with valued and skilled colleagues," says Torben Carlsen, CEO. New cities, new skills, same DFDS spirit 🙌 Our Young Professionals Programme 2024 is in full swing – and six of our talents are currently on international assignments, gaining hands-on experience across DFDS locations in the UK, Sweden and the Netherlands 🌍 “Right now, I’m in Wijchen, the Netherlands, where I’m experiencing our warehousing and transport solutions across the Benelux region. It’s incredibly valuable to see how things work on the ground – and how our activities connect across borders,” says Benjamin Hansson. In Dover, UK, Ida Hvid and Gaia Agosti are gaining insight into the maritime operations across one of UK’s busiest ports. “Relocating has been a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with new colleagues and gaining a deeper understanding of the complexity of our business,” says Gaia. In Immingham, UK, Banuchichak Gurbanova is exploring our terminal activities, while in Gothenburg, Sweden, Frederik Zebitz and Theis Krabbe are immersed in the finance and operations of the North Sea ⛴️ These rotations aren’t just about working abroad – they’re about building the foundation for future leaders who understand our business from the inside out. #DFDS #YoungProfessionals

Breaking ground for children’s homes in Ukraine 🏡 Last week, we joined our partners in Lviv, Ukraine to break ground on the first homes under the Children’s Living Places initiative - a humanitarian project dedicated to children who have lost or been separated from their families since the outbreak of war. Led by SOS Børnebyerne and SOS Children's Villages Ukraine the project will build homes for foster families, along with social centres and bomb shelters in three locations across Ukraine. These spaces aim to offer both security and a sense of belonging 👩🏽🤝👨🏻 Representing DFDS at the ceremony were Volodymyr Moldovan and Ellen Zaslavska. “It’s not just symbolic - it’s real. These homes will change lives, and for us at DFDS, it means a lot to be part of something that brings hope back to our communities,” says Ellen. We’re proud to support the initiative providing logistics consultancy and coordination - an in-kind contribution that draws on what we do best: helping move goods safely and reliably, even in challenging conditions 🚛 The Children’s Living Places project is developed by VELUX, EFFEKT architects, Artelia engineers, aimed to create healthier, more sustainable homes 🏘️
