- A COMPETITIVE AND SMART EUROPE & PUBLIC CHOICE AWARD: Satellite radar-based fertilisation maps from Poland developed a method for utilising satellite radar (SAR) imagery to create mineral fertiliser application maps for precision farming. It provides reliable monitoring of crop growth throughout season.
- A GREEN EUROPE: Atlantic Geohazard Risk Management from Interreg Atlantic Area covering Portugal, Spain, France, Ireland and United Kingdom brings together scientists, local communities, and governments to address geohazards in the Atlantic region through citizen science. The project won two prizes this year. It is also a winner of the Public Choice Award.
- A CONNECTED EUROPE: MONOCAB OWL – New mobility on old tracks from Germany uses a gyro-stabilised monorail system where cabins for four to six people travel on a single track in both directions. The MONOCAB is an individual, autonomous, and “on-demand” solution – serving as a flexible, socially responsible, and sustainable feeder to public transport.
- A SOCIAL AND INCLUSIVE EUROPE: Early support for families at risk from Czechia offers free psychological support to women after childbirth through hospital-based screening and personalised follow-up care. By connecting health and social services, it ensures that no woman faces postpartum distress alone.
- A EUROPE CLOSER TO CITIZENS: Shankill Shared Women’s Centre from PEACE IV programme (Ireland and United Kingdom) is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland creating a dedicated shared space with a vision for prosperous, more peaceful and cohesive future for women and their families from Protestant and Catholic communities across the region and beyond.
