At Danone Egypt, we believe that wellbeing starts from within. 💙 As part of Global Mental Health Week, our teams joined an inspiring session with Dr. Marwa Nouh on managing stress through nutrition and mindfulness reminding us that nourishing both our body and mind helps us thrive every day. From refreshing WellB! salads to the fun “Spin for Smoothies” activity, the day was all about embracing balance, energy, and positivity because at Danone, caring for ourselves is the first step to caring for others. 🌿✨ #DanoneEgypt #OnePlanetOneHealth #BeWell #MentalHealthWeek #WellbeingAtWork

At Danone Egypt, animal welfare is the foundation of how we operate. With 6,000 Holstein Friesian cows cared for through advanced farming and tailored nutrition, we ensure every drop of milk is fresh, safe and nutritious for our consumers. Animal welfare is a cornerstone of our Regenerative Agriculture strategy, working with farmers to adopt sustainable practices that respect animals, improve living conditions, and protect the environment.

Earlier last week, we welcomed colleagues from Danone Indonesia along with a distinguished Indonesian delegation from Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) and senior government officials, as part of the Indonesia & MENA Expert Exchange Program. The visit featured strategic engagements with H.E. Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowment of Egypt, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Deputy Sheikh of Al-Azhar, exploring collaboration in nutrition education, food security, and sustainable development. We were proud to host the delegation at our factory and farm, showcasing advanced manufacturing, sustainable agriculture, and farmer empowerment initiatives. A special thanks to the Egyptian Food Bank for their warm welcome and for reinforcing our joint “Zero Food Waste” efforts to donate Danone dairy products weekly to underserved communities while reducing food waste nationwide.

It was a true pleasure to welcome H.E. Mr. Éric Chevalier, Ambassador of France to Egypt and Mr. Pascal Furth, Head of Economic department to our Danone Egypt farm in Nubariya. Since its opening in 2011, the farm has grown into one of the largest in Egypt, with a capacity of around 6,000 Fresian Holstein cows and over 100 dedicated employees. More than just a farm, it is a center of excellence, driving innovation, producing high-quality milk for our consumers, and supporting Egypt’s journey towards greater food security and sovereignty. At the heart of this is the cutting-edge technology we deploy every day, from advanced herd management systems to sustainable feeding and milking practices, ensuring top quality, efficiency, and care for both our animals and our environment. We sincerely thank the Ambassador and the Embassy of France for their continuous engagement. Embassy of France in Egypt Tax Registration Number | 200-102-168
