The Egyptian Food Bank (EFB) is proud to announce the signing of a strategic collaboration agreement with Kraft Heinz, marking another milestone in our shared mission to promote child health and nutrition across Egypt. Through this partnership, EFB and Kraft Heinz will jointly provide about 200,000 healthy school meals to students at El Mokhtalata Primary School in Atsa, Fayoum Governorate, throughout the 2025–2026 academic year — with both partners contributing together to make this initiative a reality and doubling the original number of meals to reach even more children in need. This collaboration also marks a significant shift in the long-standing partnership between EFB and Kraft Heinz. Over the years, Kraft Heinz has supported EFB through in-kind product donations — but with this new agreement, the company has evolved its contribution to direct financial support, reflecting an even deeper commitment to sustainable social impact. The initiative comes as part of EFB’s nationwide School Feeding Program, which ensures that every child receives nutritious, safe, and balanced meals that support healthy growth, focus, and academic achievement. Each meal is designed to meet essential nutritional needs — including fortified baked goods rich in vitamins A, D3, E, and B, as well as iron, iodine, folic acid, and calcium for strong bones and healthy development. #EgyptianFoodBank #SchoolFeeding #Nutrition #FoodSecurity #HealthyChildren #CommunityImpact #KraftHeinz #CSR #PartnershipForChange

From the first heartbeat to the first steps, every moment shapes a child’s future. The “First Chance” program by the Egyptian Food Bank is breaking the cycle of stunting by giving mothers and young children what they need most in this critical stage — nutrition, healthcare, education, and mental health support. When we act in the first 1,000 days, we can prevent stunting, unlock potential, and set children on a path to healthier, brighter lives. Together, we can give every child in Egypt the strong start they deserve. #FirstChance #EgyptianFoodBank #EndStunting #ChildHealth #MaternalHealth #NutritionForLife #EarlyChildhoodDevelopment #StrongerGenerations #HealthAndHope #ImpactThatMatters #BetterStartBetterFuture

On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, 17 October, we pause to reflect. At the Egyptian Food Bank, we believe that access to food is a matter of dignity, opportunity, and stability. Poverty remains a complex and persistent challenge. Yet each meal shared is a quiet act of solidarity, a reminder that even the smallest gestures, when multiplied, can restore hope, strengthen communities, and bring us closer to a more just and compassionate future. #InternationalDayForTheEradicationOfPoverty #EgyptianFoodBank #EndPoverty #FoodSecurity #HopeInAction #NoPoverty #ZeroHunger #SocialSolidarity #TogetherForChange

Since the beginning of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza in 2023, access to clean water has become a daily struggle for thousands of families. The war has left the population in dire conditions—homes destroyed, lives disrupted, and even the most basic needs like water, scarce. This is where the partnership between the Egyptian Food Bank and Elano water, Valley Water LLC came to life. In late 2023 and early 2024, Elano watersupported EFB in delivering 1 million bottles of water to those in desperate need. And today, Elano’s commitment continues: 17 trucks — carrying 570,000 bottles of clean water — are now on their way to Gaza. This is more than aid. It’s a message that the people of Gaza are not forgotten. That even in the harshest conditions, solidarity and compassion can break through. To our partners at Elano, Valley Water LLC: Thank you for standing with us and for every life this water will touch. #EgyptianFoodBank #Elano #Gaza #HumanitarianAid #WaterIsLife #TogetherForGaza #PartnershipForHumanity #HopeInAction

Our supply chain is built for impact. As Mohsen Sarhan Ali, CEO of the Egyptian Food Bank, explains, we source differently. By working directly with small farmers and home-based poultry producers, we reduce costs, create jobs, and restore dignity. This model empowers women supporting families, strengthens local economies, and turns food relief into sustainable opportunity. #EgyptianFoodBank #SupplyChainForImpact #FoodSecurity #WomenEmpowerment #SustainableImpact #LocalEconomies #SocialImpact #ZeroHunger #CommunityEmpowerment
