We’re happy to share the EDN Toolkit from our Advocating for Dance webinar series, hosted earlier this year. The toolkit gathers reflections, methods, and examples from the webinars, offering practical ways to connect artistic work with policy, tell stronger stories about dance, use data to make an impact, and build lasting partnerships. Seven wonderful speakers shared their voices and expertise, making the series a rich exchange of perspectives and experiences — their contributions are at the heart of this publication. #GretaPieropan #CarlottaScioldo #MaximeOllivier #LuisaSaraiva #RobertoCasarotto Aerowaves #LuizaMoroz Culture Action Europe #AmyFee #DanscentrumSverige ✨ Explore the toolkit here: https://lnkd.in/dAhT6hWF The webinars and the toolkit are brought to you by Embodied Transformations, EDN’s EU-funded network project #creativeeurope

From 29 September to 1 October 2025, UNESCO convenes #MONDIACULT in Barcelona, the world’s biggest cultural policy conference. ✨ Why this matters For the dance sector, this is a critical moment: fair pay, artistic freedom, sustainable touring, digital shifts, and preserving intangible heritage are on the table. The outcomes of this global “policy reset” will shape the frameworks in which dance artists and organisations operate for years to come. EDN will join through the Àgora Cívica (Civil Society Forum), where Gebra Serra will advocate for the role of dance organisations in shaping democratic cultural landscapes and advocate for culture’s rightful place in global development frameworks. #Culture2030Goal By being present in Barcelona, EDN carries a simple but vital message: dance matters in shaping cultural policy locally, regionally, and internationally.
