Koji has just been awarded by the FAO, World Food Forum & MassChallenge Switzerland with the Fighting Malnutrition & Enhancing Food Security Prize 2025! 🇮🇹 Feeling deeply proud and grateful, this recognition means a lot to us. Out of more than 1.500 startups from around the world, Koji es Transformación® was selected for our contribution to building a healthier and more resilient food system through biotechnology, receiving a €10.000 grant💰. Our mission has never been clearer: 👉 To use Solid-State Fermentation to create natural ingredients that replace salt, sugar and additives, unlocking better taste, functionality and nutrition for all. From Colombia to the HQ of the FAO in Rome! 🇨🇴🇮🇹 Within the Startup Innovation Awards held at the World Food Forum we were announced as winners of the Fighting Malnutrition and Enhancing Food Security Prize by MassChallenge Switzerland 🇨🇭 This prize represents just one more step towards our goal of reformulating food products with flavour and functionality via our proprietary Solid State Fermentation (SSF) technology.
