🌍 A week sharing spaces, reflections, and experiences with participants in the “Designing & Facilitating Learning Spaces” program, led by Contextos, implemented by La Cultora, and hosted by the Escuela TAI and Bastardo Hostel. 🤝 During the project, we explored how facilitation can enhance our “social superpower”: collaboration, creating the conditions for collective intelligence to flourish, for trust, authentic connection, and mutual learning to emerge. Thank you, Carlos Matos dos Reis! 💡 We also understood something deeper: we live in a time where uncertainty is the norm, and that requires creative responses. We can no longer be “ordinary,” in the sense of the usual, the predictable; today we are all, in some way, improper. And thank you, Escuela TAI! And Laura Bermejo. 🌟 And we closed at my favorite place to be different from the norm, at Bastardo Hostel, which is not a hostel, nor a cultural center, nor a neighborhood space... but all of these things at once. The inappropriate, the hybrid, that which does not quite fit, thus becomes fertile ground for creativity and innovation, in order to respond to the challenges we face as a society. Personally, I'm left with this idea: Perhaps facilitating today means precisely that: making space for the uncertain, for what does not yet fit, for the inappropriate... to provide creative, collective, and humane responses to the challenges we share. #Facilitation #Creativity #Innovation #EuropeanProjects #Inappropriateness #CollectiveLearning #Change
