🌎 Food security, climate resilience, digital transformation, gender equality... These are global challenges shared across regions. If we all face them, why not face them together? 💥 In just two weeks, in Bogotá, Colombia, Obreal will bring to the same table voices from different latitudes and sectors to exchange ideas and build shared solutions. 👉 Governments, universities, and regional organizations from Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, North America and Europe will meet and discuss common problems and possible ways to address them in the Third Interregional Dialogue on Education and Development. 👥 Organized by the Vicepresidencia de la República de Colombia, Obreal, the African Union, Académica ASCUN and the Association of African Universities, this Dialogue is a unique platform for interregional cooperation where regions work together across borders to enhance the role of the educational sector. 📲 Stay tuned for more updates!

🧑🎓 Building the future of African education starts with better data and stronger collaboration. 👉 That's why Project Manager Kibrome Haile from Obreal is contributing to the "Expert Meeting on the Finalisation of the CESA 26–35 Indicators Manual" in Abuja, Nigeria. 📍 The meeting brought together leading education experts to validate the CESA 26–35 Indicators Manual, ensuring that it is technically sound, globally comparable, and aligned with Africa’s priorities under Agenda 2063. 🤝 At Obreal we are proud to be part of the collective effort led by the African Union to design a harmonised framework that will guide education systems across the continent for the next decade.

🧠 Today, on World Mental Health Day, we stand with the global community in prioritising mental health and well-being for everyone. 👥 At obreal we believe that mental health and well-being are central to building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable societies. That's why we work to empower people and organisations through education, dialogue and capacity building. 👉 One clear example of our work in this area is the YouthWell project, co-funded by the European Commission. A project with which we are developing programmes, digital resources and policy recommendations that help youth workers and institutions better support young people's mental health. 📍Just next week, obreal will host a YouthWell event in Barcelona, gathering global partners and stakeholders. 🌍 Obreal is proud to support the 15th ANIE Annual Conference which is taking place this week in Kampala, Uganda. 👥 Our colleagues Jaume Fortuny and Apiyo Okwiri are contributing to discussions on internationalisation and interregional cooperation in higher education. During her intervention, Apiyo highlighted the need for diverse, context-driven strategies for a real Pan-African model of internationalisation, and the importance of recognising Africa’s equal role in global partnerships. 🤝 Together with African Network for Internationalisation of Education (ANIE) and our partners, we continue strengthening bridges between Africa and other regions of the South, a central aspect of our mission and strategy.
