World Environment Day is a good time to take stock and spotlight some of the great work taking place across our AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, Oceania). And our teams aren’t just talking about change - they’re delivering it: 💡 In Spain, our Cantabria team cut over 600,000 kWh of energy use and avoided 500 tonnes of CO₂ in one year. In Ávila, we're saving another 300 tonnes annually by improving industrial lighting, optimising air conditioning, and using solar energy. ☀️ In Egypt, we’re pushing toward 100% clean energy by 2026 (already reaching 65%) driven by the country's first-of-its-kind solar energy system. We’re also recycling treated water to irrigate 10,000 m² of green space around the plant - a smart initiative projected to save over 43 million litres of water by the end of the 2025 financial year 💧 In India, seven dealerships are now fully powered by solar energy, with excess power being sent back to the grid. 🍃 And in the UK, around 20% of the Sunderland plant’s electricity comes from on-site wind and solar farms. These are real results from real people - not concepts, just smart, hands-on work proving sustainability can start anywhere. Let’s keep the momentum going! #Nissan #Sustainability #WED2025

It serves as a living laboratory where inventors can freely test their ideas and future technologies, such as autonomous driving and artificial intelligence and so much more, in a secure real-life setting. 🚀2025 has just begun and is already off to a promising start!
