The 8th Session of the Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Finance, Monetary Affairs, Economic Planning and Integration concluded with a strong call for Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors to take forward the recommendations on debt, domestic resource mobilization, health financing, and Africa’s common position in global financial reforms. The meeting reaffirmed the urgency of accelerating the establishment of the African Union Financial Institutions, strengthening Africa’s credit rating agency. These efforts are central to ensuring that Agenda 2063’s goals of financial sovereignty and inclusive growth are realized.
