Today at London Packaging Week, Bentley Motors shared the inside track on its new fragrance line, Bentley Become, and the strategy behind the product’s packaging, created in collaboration with design firm CARRÉ BASSET. The session brought together Ben Saltmer of Bentley, Camille ten Horn of Carré Basset, and moderator Claire Domergue of LUXUS PLUS to explore how Bentley’s design philosophy extends beyond automotive into lifestyle products that embody the same precision, authenticity, and sustainability. “Everything we create has to resonate with the brand, not a particular vehicle,” said Saltmer. “Everything in our products has to be honest.” The Become fragrance pairs luxury aesthetics with clear sustainability goals. The bottle is made from low-weight glass containing PCR, printed with biodegradable green ink, and topped with a fully recyclable aluminum cap. Its carton is made from FSC-certified paper. Shared Ten Horn, “The design is something that’s truly, authentically sustainable. It’s not sustainable for trends or just because it’s the new thing to do.
