This week, ECRIN's Head of Clinical Operations Amelie MICHON attended the ACT EU Multi Stakeholder Platform conference where she moderated Session 3: Innovation in AI and digitalisation with Peter Arlett, EMA's Head of Data Analytics and Methods Task Force. 👏 💻 The session was about how AI and digital tools are now reshaping the design and conduct of clinical trials in Europe. Very insightful examples were shared by representatives of the different stakeholder groups highlighting both challenges and opportunities related to data quality, interoperability, regulatory compliance and trust. Welcome to our new European Correspondents! 👏 We are delighted to welcome Lea-Jean Pietzke and Hana Blahynková to the ECRIN team! 🧬 Lea-Jean Pietzke, European Correspondent for Germany, brings over ten years of experience in clinical research. With a strong background in managing multinational clinical studies, particularly in gynaecological cancer, Lea combines deep scientific expertise with operational excellence. She will join our German team in Berlin - KKS-Netzwerk e. V. 💡 Hana Blahynková, European Correspondent for Czech Republic, joins ECRIN with more than 15 years of experience in clinical research. Her expertise spans coordination, data management, and international collaboration. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. on patient empowerment, Hana brings both professional rigor and a strong commitment to advancing clinical research in Europe. She will join our Czech team in Brno - CZECRIN. We are very happy to have them on board and look forward to their contributions to ECRIN’s mission of supporting multinational clinical research across Europe. 💙
