⚡ 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐄 𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 At Japan Power Week 2025 in Tokyo, our colleague Hiromi Moro joined the panel “Japan’s Power Market: Growth, Risks, Opportunities” to discuss how the country’s energy landscape is evolving, from the rise of renewables and LNG volatility to the impact of climate trends, and nuclear policy. The session, organized by Bloomberg Japan, brought together experts to share their perspectives on what’s next for Japan’s power market. Hiromi highlighted how ENGIE teams are helping navigate these shifts: combining market expertise, flexibility, and low-carbon innovation to support Japan’s energy transition. A big thank you to Hiromi, our colleagues in Tokyo, the Bloomberg News team and especially Shoko Oda for this insightful exchange. 👉 Learn more about our activities in Japan: https://lnkd.in/ebX-_Kkf

ENGIE signs a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Apple for 400 GWh of renewable electricity in Italy, reinforcing our ambition to accelerate the deployment of large-scale, diversified green energy solutions across Europe. Through this agreement, ENGIE will supply around 400 GWh of renewable electricity each year, 80% of the electricity generated will be supplied to Apple, while the remaining 20% will be injected into the grid, supporting Italy’s energy mix and the annual needs of around 30,000 households. This partnership will avoid 160,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually (the equivalent of 70,000 cars) and supports Italy’s decarbonization goals. It also strengthens ENGIE’s strategy to offer tailored PPAs that help businesses reduce their carbon footprint and exposure to energy market volatility. 🔗 Official press release: https://lnkd.in/ekA6ZPBM ENGIE Italia

ENGIE can now offer Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), including I-RECs and TIGRs, that carry the internationally recognised EKOenergy ecolabel: a mark of quality that goes beyond renewable sourcing. Why does this matter? Because EKOenergy-labelled energy: ✔️ Meets additional environmental and social sustainability criteria ✔️ Supports biodiversity and ecosystem protection ✔️ Funds clean energy projects in low- and middle-income countries via the Climate Fund ✔️ Aligns with leading frameworks like the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, CDP, and RE100 This step reinforces our ambition to deliver energy solutions that are not only low-carbon, but also high-impact, helping clients meet their climate goals while contributing to a more inclusive global energy transition. 👉 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gb7WfAYf ENGIE South East Asia

ENGIE and CVE (Changeons Notre Vision de l'Energie) sign a 15-year biomethane supply agreement under France’s Biogas Production Certificates (CPB) scheme. This strategic partnership strengthens the security of green gas supply and supports the national target of 44 TWh of biomethane injected by 2030. Starting in 2027, the Ludres anaerobic digestion facility (Grand Est) will supply ENGIE clients, highlighting the rise of a local, sustainable energy sector: 31 GWh/year of biomethane, 11,800 tons of CO₂ avoided, energy for 8,000 new homes, and 33,000 tons of natural fertilizer returned to the soil. This long-term agreement demonstrates ENGIE’s role in developing competitive, traceable, and sustainable renewable gas markets, contributing directly to the energy transition.
