#GPHG2025 Grand Seiko Europe is pleased to share that two of our latest timepieces, recently unveiled at Watches & Wonders, have been nominated by the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève - GPHG Academy 2025: The ground-breaking Grand Seiko 'Ice Forest' Spring Drive UFA is nominated in the GPHG 'Men's Category' for its 'technological mastery'. A second nomination is given to the Grand Seiko 'Tokyo Lion Tentagraph' in the GPHG 'Sports Category' for its 'distinctive edge'. These nominations reflect Grand Seiko’s philosophy of 'The Nature of Time' and its dedication to excellence in watchmaking. The winners will be unveiled at the final ceremony on November 13th. We took the occasion to mark the launch of the new Credor #Locomotive model, originally designed by Gérald Genta in the 1970s. We recently completed an exciting European tour across Oslo, Paris, and Munich to celebrate the launch of the new Spring Drive Ice Forest. This exclusive series of events was made even more special by the presence of Mr. Akira Yoshida , the japanese designer behind this extraordinary timepiece and its uniquely textured dial. We kicked off the tour at Urmaker Bjerke in Oslo, continued at our flagship boutique Paris Vendôme, where we also celebrated its 5th anniversary, and concluded at our long-standing partner Juwelier Bauer München in Munich. Each event brought together passionate watch enthusiasts for exclusive presentations and engaging conversations led by our brand educator Cyril Turban and Akira Yoshida. On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025, from April 8 to 13, #GrandSeiko, Official Timekepeer of Fuorisalone.it and Brera Design District, is presenting an exclusive work by one of Japan’s most renowned designers Japanese designers, M. Tokujin Yoshioka at Palazzo Landriani in the heart of Milan. Entitled Tokujin Yoshioka - Frozen, this exceptional project focuses on the concept of « water », the natural substance brought to us by earth. The crystallisation of water gives birth to the transparent light sculpture. This artwork « Aqua chair » is showcased alongside the Grand Seiko’s Spring Drive creations.
