ICOM’s Director General, Medea Sógor Ekner, represented the global museum community at the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, contributing to high-level discussions on the role of artificial intelligence in culture and heritage. Her words underscore #ICOM’s commitment to ensuring that innovation and ethics go hand in hand in the museum sector.

✨ The 27th ICOM General Conference - ICOM Dubai 2025 (11-17 November) is the biggest event in museum sector where we will present our heritage protection initiatives, discuss current challenges for museums and cultural institutions and set the direction of the sector for the next three years.
