✨ ION-X JOINS THE NEW #FRENCHTECH2030 COHORT!✨ We are proud to be among the 80 deep-tech champions selected by La French Tech as key contributors to France’s technological, industrial, and strategic sovereignty. At ION-X, we are redefining how satellites move in space with our breakthrough ionic-liquid electrospray propulsion technology, born from CNRS nanoscience research. Our thrusters enable safer, cleaner, and more agile missions for the new space era. This recognition under #FrenchTech2030 is a milestone in our mission to unlock on-orbit mobility and to strengthen French & European position as a global leader in space propulsion. Together, the 80 champions represent: 💶 €1.1 billion in funds raised 🏭 45 factories operating or under development 🔬 €130+ million invested in R&D (2024) 📈 €138 million in 2024 revenue 💡 353 patents filed 🧑🚀 3 200 employees in France, with +45 % growth projected in 2025 With this initiative, ION-X will benefit from personalized support from Mission French Tech for one year to accelerate our roadmap and international scale-up. 📜 #IEPC debrief 📜 Last week, we published the outcome of years of hard work in front of the entire electric propulsion community for the very first time. We presented the results of our first flight but also of our latest system qualification tests on the ground. We shared what worked, but also what did not go fully as planned. Being transparent in such a sensitive industry is always a risk. At the same time, you also need to balance priorities; is it the right time to spend weeks on writing a paper while the team also needs to focus on the next thruster that has to be shipped in only a few weeks? And yet, we did both! International Electric Propulsion Conference 2025 in #London has been a tremendous event for ION-X. We are proud of the praises and encouragements we received from the community. Our transparency, honesty and technical progresses have received positive feedback from worldwide experts and we are happy to be in a position to contribute to the advancement of in-space electric propulsion science and global knowledge. 🛰️A BIG LEAP FOR ESTONIAN SPACE INDUSTRY - ION-X ON BOARD🛰️ We are proud to join Estonia's first commercial Earth observation mission OPS-SAT #ORIOLE ! ION-X will collaborate with the mission prime contractor C3S Electronics Development LLC, the Hungarian satellite integrator and manufacturer, to deliver our HALO-100X propulsion system. Our thruster will ensure precise maneuvers, long lifetime, and safe deorbiting — essential for such a sensitive optical mission🌍 The mission is part of the European Space Agency - ESA program #ScyLight, aiming to demonstrate next-gen telecom and infrared imaging technologies in LEO.
