🚨 This Week in Digital Assets ⤵️ This week, Chainlink launched the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), a unified orchestration layer that runs verifiable workflows across public and permissioned chains. It’s a turning point for how tokenized funds and stablecoins move from pilots to production. 2/ CRE bundles cross-chain messaging, data feeds, and compliance automation into a single runtime that institutions can plug into without rebuilding infrastructure. Think of it as the missing bridge between onchain workflows and existing financial systems. 3/ Recent live use cases: • JPMorgan’s Kinexys + Ondo Finance → cross-chain tokens-for-cash settlement using CRE • UBS + DigiFT → fund subscription/redemption run fully onchain, synced with custody systems These are production-grade fund ops, not demos. 4/ CRE is fast becoming a shared standard for institutional tokenization. Trials with DTCC, Swift, and Euroclear point to a model where common message formats trigger onchain actions via a single runtime, instead of every project building custom middleware. 5/ Network effects will define the winner. If CRE becomes the default runtime for onchain finance, reusable workflows will compound across chains, custodians, and issuers, just as Java standardized execution across web apps. 6/ At Kiln, we’ve adopted CRE to power our DeFi initiatives: enabling transparent, compliance-ready access to institutional yield strategies. This is how real infrastructure brings traditional finance onchain. Read the full breakthrough on our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/em-pna85

Embedding compliance and risk management directly is how we make DeFi truly secure, transparent and insitution-ready - trust that’s built in, not bolted on. It’s been incredibly rewarding to contribute to a partnership that makes this vision tangible. Huge thanks to our brilliant Kiln team and our partners at Chainlink Labs for pushing the boundaries of what compliant onchain finance can look like. Together, we’re shaping the next chapter of DeFi - one that’s open, secure, and built for institutions. Cannot be more excited! 🤩🚀
Institutions want to manage assets and yield onchain, but operational complexity keeps them out. By integrating Chainlink Labs CRE + ACE, we've embedded programmable controls, cross-chain execution, and transparent NAV reporting into our vault infrastructure. Institutional yield that scales → powered by Kiln.

🚨 This Week in Digital Assets ⤵️ Altcoin ETFs are here, and they might be here to stay. This week, Solana, Litecoin, and Hedera ETFs quietly hit U.S. exchanges, led by Bitwise Asset Management, Grayscale Investments, and Canary Capital. The kicker? It all happened during a government shutdown. 2/ With the SEC’s staff offline, issuers used a procedural loophole: by removing the “delaying amendment,” filings went effective automatically after 20 days under Section 8(a). Canary leaned in first, others followed, and suddenly, a wave of altcoin ETFs were live before regulators could react. 3/ Here’s who’s in: • Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (with yield exposure) • Grayscale Solana ETF (now on NYSE Arca) • Canary’s Litecoin & Hedera ETFs • 21Shares’ HYPE ETF filing • Fidelity’s amended Solana ETF This marks the broadest expansion of crypto ETFs yet. 4/ Beyond timing, structural tailwinds are strong: The SEC’s new generic listing standards for commodity-based products mean fewer custom approvals, and faster crypto ETP launches. Expect a flood of altcoin ETFs in the coming weeks. 5/ Early flows show investors are selective. 💸 Bitwise’s Solana fund already attracted $150M+ since Oct 28, while Litecoin and Hedera remain quiet. We expect blue-chip alts like Solana, Chainlink, and Sui to lead this first wave. 6/ Shutdown or not, the ETF era for altcoins has begun. Regulated wrappers are now the new gateway for diversified crypto exposure, and Solana is leading the charge 🧭 👉 Read the full breakdown on our blog post: https://lnkd.in/ejN58yZK

Infrastructure only works at scale if it holds under pressure. Kiln is the yield platform powering custody-grade infrastructure for some of the largest institutions in the ecosystem. Its APIs, dashboards, and vault interfaces integrate directly with providers like Fireblocks, Copper, and Ledger. Now live on Cantina: Kiln’s fourth active bug bounty program, and the first focused on its web and integration layer. While Kiln’s smart contract stack continues to be tested through three ongoing bounties, this latest program shifts the spotlight to the APIs, dashboards, and institutional workflows that power yield generation at scale. This program covers: • Interfaces and APIs for institutional yield • Web integrations with custody and wallet partners • Multi-app coordination across dashboard, gateway, and validator layers Bug bounties are not just about finding flaws. They are how organizations validate security assumptions, improve operational readiness, and engage with the researcher community before vulnerabilities are exploited.
