Maison Hennessy is writing a new chapter in its maritime expeditions with Neoliner Origin, a pioneering wind-powered cargo ship developed by French start-up NEOLINE. This initiative marks a step toward more sustainable sea transport, as Hennessy reinforces its commitment to innovation, heritage, and environmental responsibility. Using wind power, Neoliner Origin will reduce its CO2 emissions by 80% to 90% compared to a conventional ship. Its optimized speed will also minimize the impact on marine fauna and biodiversity. In October 2025, Neoliner Origin will make its inaugural transatlantic crossing, shipping 500 000 cognac bottles from the commitment of 4 million Hennessy bottles per year.
