[ICYMI] Framework for the Automatic Exchange of Readily Available Information on Immovable Property for Tax Purposes Over the past 15 years, the global tax landscape has transformed with stronger cross-border exchanges of information on financial assets — from the CRS to the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework. However, data sharing on immovable property has lagged behind and tax administrations often lack visibility into who owns what across borders, and what income is generated. This #OECD’s new report introduces a voluntary framework — the Immovable Property Information Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement (IPI MCAA) — to enable automatic exchange of readily available data on property ownership, acquisitions, disposals, and income. Strengthening transparency in this area will help tax administrations ensure compliance and verify that funds used to acquire property are properly declared and taxed. 📘➡️ https://brnw.ch/21wWLCo #OECDtax #G20SouthAfrica #G20 #OECD #tax

[ICYMI] A Decade of the BEPS Initiative: An Inclusive Framework Stocktake Report to G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors At the request of the South African G20 presidency, this report takes stock of the progress made in the implementation and impact of the package of 15 measures introduced under the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Project. It reflects on how the #OECD contribution to the international tax agenda has strengthened tax certainty by countering tax avoidance and base erosion and profit shifting practices, enhanced domestic resource mobilisation, particularly across developing countries, and paved the way for broader international tax co-operation. 📘➡️ https://brnw.ch/21wWLpZ #OECDtax #G20SouthAfrica #G20 #OECD #tax
