Running High, Cheering Loud: A Golden Moment for Salomon employees It was the Grand Final of the Golden Trail World Series — and Salomon was there in full force! This year, 50 employees signed up to be part of the adventure — some as spectators, but most as race participants! From trying to keep up with elite athletes to taking on a personal challenge — 21km, 1800m of elevation gain, on a highly technical course above the stunning Lago di Ledro — every runner gave it their all. Beyond the physical effort, this weekend was all about team spirit. Across departments and roles, Salomon teammates cheered each other on with signs, shouts, and even a few shared strides on the trail. Huge congrats to all our runners and a massive thank you for the incredible energy you brought to the event! Watch the recap video to relive the highlights — the grit, the smiles, and the unforgettable moments. Video - Julien Laurent Photo - Margaux Le Map #GoldenTrailSeries #SalomonTeam #TrailRunning

“Amputees hiking around Mont Blanc? Of course it’s possible.” This powerful statement comes from Jean Hacquart, a representative of the Salomon Foundation, who recently joined an extraordinary expedition led by Oz'Moov, the non-profit organization founded by triple-amputee Jerome BERNARD. For four days, Jean walked alongside Gaëtan, a young participant who lost part of his leg to cancer, as they tackled 65 km and 4,500 m of elevation gain on the Tour du Mont Blanc. More than a hike, it was a human adventure—one of courage, resilience, and connection. The Salomon Foundation is proud to support Oz’Moov by providing gear and financial aid to help make these life-changing experiences possible. But this time, we handed the pen to Jean, who shares his story from the inside: the challenges, the laughter, the tears, and the unforgettable bonds formed along the way. "You've helped me gain acceptance time." – Jérôme Bernard   Jerome BERNARD — founder of Oz’Moov and Salomon Para-Team ambassador — is a triple amputee and one of the initiators of the Adaptive Project, a unique collaboration between Salomon, Airbus, and a group of engineering students who later became the startup Hopper. Together, they imagined new ways to make mountain sports more accessible for people with disabilities.   With Oz’Moov, Jérôme continues this journey: leading bold expeditions that push boundaries and open new possibilities — always driven by the power of the collective.   The Salomon Foundation is proud to support Oz'Moov, alongside other associations working to make mountain sports inclusive and accessible to all. Salomon Quality Ski Time Film Tour Kicks off 5th Year Time flies when you’re having fun! In five short years, the Quality Ski Time Film Tour has grown from a few small shows in the U.S. to having stops across three continents and 9 countries making it the largest global consumer activation for the alpine side of the Salomon business. While much has changed, the way we started is STILL what sets us apart – more films mean more stoke! At every stop, skiers will have the opportunity to enjoy at least five films, each showcasing different athletes, different types of skiing and different stories. Our selection of films continues to set the standard for what it means to be different in what some might call a sea of sameness as it relates to the ski movies that come out every year. From classic ski porn and artistic freestyle skiing to deep stories about the human struggle told through the lens of skiing, every type of person and skier will be able to find a film that speaks to them in one way or another. The beauty of this approach is that it allows us to create an experience that no single movie premiere can match! This year our lineup is once again packed! And while the three main films will bring people in, the ‘local flavor’ we inject into each show will have people on the edge of their seats as sell. The beauty of this format – you never know what films we’re going to play! This year’s lineup includes: ▪️ Cold Calls – Another fun, action-packed flick from Blank Collective taking skiers from B.C. and Japan to Norway and Alaska. ▪️ One Step Ahead – Follows Norwegian skier Bernt Marius as he gets back to doing what he loves – skiing big lines in the Sunnmore Alps – after losing his leg in an accident. ▪️ The Edge of Reason – Featuring Cody Townsend and Nikolai Schrimer, Two veteran professional skiers, hardened and seasoned by tragedy in the mountains seek a rekindling of their aggressive approach to steep terrain by venturing to Norway’s Lyngen Alps with a fearless young phenom--only to find that the mountains have much more to teach them all about risk, reckoning and the thin line between glory and grief ▪️ Josh Daiek takes his usual full gas approach across the pond to Europe to see if he can find anything to his liking! ▪️ Two skiers – Lalo Rombaud and Tucker Car – put it ‘All on Black’ with an action-packed short film with a creative slant that will have people stoked. ▪️ Shometsu Zekkei by Tenra Katsuno and Gavin Rudy. Japan, powder, culture, need we say more? ▪️ Where the Woodwose Are – It’s Sami Ortlieb and the départ crew you know it’s going to be good! ▪️ Speaking of départ, we filmed a ridiculously fun team flick up at Mt. Hood while we were in town for the Salomon Signature Session with Windell’s. Over the past three years we’ve donated over $20,000 from ticket sales of the Quality Ski Time Film Tour to our non-profit partner of choice, Protect Our Winters. And we’re going to do the same thing this year!
