🚗🔋 Innovation in Action: First IBIS Prototype Hits the Road Stellantis, in partnership with Saft, has unveiled the first vehicle prototype equipped with the Intelligent Battery Integrated System (IBIS) — now entering real-world testing. This French-led collaborative project reimagines the electric powertrain by embedding inverter and charger functions directly into the battery. The result: 🔹 Up to 10% higher energy efficiency 🔹 15% more power with the same battery size 🔹 Weight and space savings that improve design flexibility 🔹 Faster charging and simplified maintenance Tested in a new Peugeot E-3008, IBIS represents a major step forward in electrification—not just for automotive, but also for rail, marine, aerospace, and stationary energy applications. As we celebrate the first anniversary of OPmobility, I am thrilled to reflect on the remarkable milestones we have achieved over the past year: - Construction of our hydrogen vessels plant in Lachelle, France, which is set to start production in the next weeks ! With an annual capacity of 80,000 hydrogen tanks, this facility will be the largest in Europe, positioning Lachelle as a cornerstone in our mass production strategy - Fantastic partnership with CRRC Corporation Limited, global leader in rail and public transportation. This collaboration has been instrumental in activating our joint venture PO-Rein, in China, to deliver Type IV high-pressure hydrogen storage systems for CRRC innovative and clean tramways - Significant contract with the leading train manufacturer Stadler to equip hydrogen-powered regional trains in Italy. This contract reinforces our position as a leader in hydrogen mobility, capable of offering a complete line-up of solutions from storage to fuel cell systems in collaboration with our joint venture EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies GmbH Thanks to our dedicated Team and partners for making this year a tremendous success.
