Since 2018, Stellantis has been in a joint venture with Belgian multinational Punch Powertrain, a specialist in Electrified Dual Clutch Transmissions (#eDCT). This advanced hybrid technology enables ICEs to stay off for 50% of the time in urban cycles. This week, #Stellantis took on complete ownership of these production activities, based at our plants in Metz, France and Mirafiori, in Turin, Italy. The eDCT gearboxes will be present in the entire Stellantis range of Mild Hybrid vehicles as well as the new generation of Plug-in vehicles, thus providing class-leading performance in terms of weight and production cost, fuel savings and reductions in harmful emissions.

The initiative brings together technology leaders committed to one clear goal: making our roads safer for everyone. As part of this commitment, we are presenting solutions that reflect our convictions: connected intelligence and automated capabilities must be focused on real-world challenges — not only driving experience, but life-saving impact. In the #IMPACT space, we’re showcasing one of our advanced solutions: the 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 — an intelligent, communicative interface between vehicles and their environment. It’s built to make mobility safer, more intuitive, and better connected. This solution is already a reality from a technological standpoint. What remains is to align the regulatory framework. That is one of the reasons we, at OPmobility, signed the Charter for road violence-free mobility and joined the first coalition dedicated to safer roads. Because let’s face it: no technology matters if it doesn’t keep people safe. I want to personally thank Yannick Alléno for his leadership in turning personal tragedy into collective action. His voice is a reminder of why we do what we do — and why we must do it with purpose. Mobility is changing — fast. Our new name reaffirms our ambition as an agile industrial group committed to Customers, and embracing technological solutions to drive mobility. As we celebrate the first anniversary of OPmobility, I am thrilled to reflect on the remarkable milestones we have achieved over the past year: - Construction of our hydrogen vessels plant in Lachelle, France, which is set to start production in the next weeks ! With an annual capacity of 80,000 hydrogen tanks, this facility will be the largest in Europe, positioning Lachelle as a cornerstone in our mass production strategy - Fantastic partnership with CRRC Corporation Limited, global leader in rail and public transportation. This collaboration has been instrumental in activating our joint venture PO-Rein, in China, to deliver Type IV high-pressure hydrogen storage systems for CRRC innovative and clean tramways - Significant contract with the leading train manufacturer Stadler to equip hydrogen-powered regional trains in Italy. This contract reinforces our position as a leader in hydrogen mobility, capable of offering a complete line-up of solutions from storage to fuel cell systems in collaboration with our joint venture EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies GmbH Thanks to our dedicated Team and partners for making this year a tremendous success. With 25 stations already operational in France and a target of 650 stations across Europe by 2028, we are committed to enhancing the charging experience for electric vehicle drivers. Our stations are strategically located to enhance territorial coverage, initially capitalizing on the locations of Renault Group dealerships, and designed to offer an efficient and comfortable charging experience.   Mobilize Fast Charge is a key pillar in our strategy to enable electric charging everywhere at the best cost, but also to generate recurring revenue for Renault Group.   I look forward to seeing our network of stations expanding further in key markets such as Spain and Belgium, and to capitalize on our partnership with Free To X in Italy to play a major role in making electric mobility seamless and accessible. #FastCharge #Mobilize #ElectricMobility
