Two projects/problems at the same time

It seems I can't work on two different projects at the same with with two different cursor windows open because the task manager uses the same file for managing tasks.

It would be nice of the task manager understood that I hade different projects open on two different windows.

Yes, it's possible!

You just need to configure a different DATA_DIR for each project.
Cursor's mcp.json supports project-level configuration, so each project can have its own isolated task file and won't conflict with others.

Just place a separate mcp.json inside each project folder and set a unique DATA_DIR path for each. That way, you can work on multiple projects in different windows without any issues! 🙌

如果不是在cursor中使用，只能全局配置的mcp怎么办。在augment中没办法用配置项目级别的mcp，能不能加入一个相对路径的功能。

嗨，我本來想透過 MCP Server 的 ListRoot 功能來取得工作目錄，但我在 Augment 測試中，發現 Augment 並不支持 MCP 官方的 List Root 協議，這部分可能只能等 Augment 官方支持

雖然我可以利用工具讓 Agent 來回答工作目錄，但由於 LLM 的不確定性，這將有可能造成幻覺而給出錯誤的路徑，所以目前我希望能避免由 Agent 來回答

是否可以在 MCP tool 相关的参数中都增加 projectRootDirectory 参数来实现项目隔离，这个参数的描述说明好以后，让 IDE 自己获取当前的项目根目录（它可能会自己执行命令行，或者从上下文获取都可以，但 shrimp-task-manager 不用关心实现）并传递给 shrimp task manager，之后在 MCP server 的实现中都基于这个参数进行隔离。

這是可行的，但唯一的隱憂就是怕 AI 產生幻覺，傳遞錯誤的目錄或者在每個執行階段傳遞不一致的目錄，
例如當 AI 使用 split_tasks 傳遞了 /to/your/project，但當AI要求執行時 execute_task 時可能會因為之前查看相關的目錄導致他產生幻覺而傳遞出 /to/your/project/OtherChildDir，這將會導致工具失效
