Not seeing all images?

Hey Jim,

I'm using mnml on my micro.blog and I'm trying to get it to display all images I post on my photos page. But all I see is a single image of a tree.

Per the documentation, all the photo settings are blank with regards to categories etc. so I'd assume it should show all images?

Images are WEBP and pulled from my main site via RSS. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it?

@kevquirk Can you share the RSS from your main site and how it is you're getting it in to Micro.blog (is it a middleman type service)? I'll dig into it as soon as I feel up to it.

I have a process that resizes anything I upload to my main site to 1200px wide (auto height) and converts it to WEBP, so the source image from my blog will always be WEBP.

@kevquirk I get what you're asking now...

Can you include a screenshot of your mnml settings from the plugin? Also, have you updated to the latest version, or are you still running something older? Looking at html source, it looks like it could be old. Did you fork the theme, or make a version of your own along the way? I definitely fixed for img formats at a point.

The thing about Micro.blog is if you edit a template from a theme, it will always take priority over the theme, even when the theme is updated, so if you edited the photo-grid.html at some point, your version overrides mine.

No worries about asking. I'm already beginning to get a little bored sitting here doing nothing except for breathing exercises and watching YouTube videos.😮‍💨

So I was on version 2.4.6, I've just updated to 2.5.9, but it's still the same. The only thing I've changed on the theme is added a script for highlighting replies from me, and some CSS, but that's all in the custom footer and custom CSS files that Micro.blog offer. I've not made any changes to the photo-grid.html file.

Looking at this documentation page I think it's something to do with your use of Params.images in the photo-grid file as that only pulls JPG and PNG apparently.

I'll post something on the forums to see what needs to change in order for the photos page to capture WEBP too.

@kevquirk a lot of settings are missing in your screenshot. Can you try again? Sometimes it takes Micro.blog a while to "catch up" as it were.

This is the setting you're looking for:

If the new screenshot is the same, can you check your error log for the site? Sometimes a publishing error prevents plugins from updating completely.
