Assertion failed: (DelayedTypos.empty() && "Uncorrected typos!"), function ~Sema, file /Users/w/clang-llvm/llvm/tools/clang/lib/Sema/Sema.cpp, line 250.

Still trying to isolate the root cause. This happens parsing the AST of many files using RecursiveASTVisitor.

Could you attach a preprocessed example? Because I'm on linux, all I get is:

I'm unable to generate this error with clang alone, only while parsing an AST with RecursiveASTVisitor. To recreate...

I picked bsd/dev/dtrace/systrace.c arbitrarily, but many others fail in the same way. All it takes to bypass the exception is adding -f-no-spell-checking.

It sounds like the AST in question contains errors such unknown identifiers, but because the AST is only being parsed the TypoExprs in the AST aren't diagnosed before the Sema object is destroyed, leading to that assertion firing. Does the source code whose AST is being parsed successfully compile (i.e. does the compilation command exit with a zero status)? If the source does actually compile fine without any errors (including silent errors), then we'll need a platform-agnostic way to reproduce the assertion when parsing the AST--I for one cannot do anything with the attached systrace.c as it includes OS X / Darwin specific header files and I run Linux exclusively.

The intent isn't to actually compile the file, just to parse the AST. I would expect the same results on a linux, assuming no extra header files were included. In any case, adding -f-no-spell-checking fixes the problem.
