  • Introduce NextTurbopackContext for use later in feat(turbopack): Log anonymized internal error (panic) information to telemetry #81272 . In this PR, it's just a thin single-field wrapper, but we add callbacks to it in the next PR.
  • Wrap all the places we pass around NextTurboTasks in this new NextTurbopackContext type.
  • VcArc was a bit vague of a name, the important thing its that the Vc is detached from the turbo-tasks graph. DetachedVc matches the prefixed naming of ResolvedVc and OperationVc.

Closes PACK-5029

nit: There's a few places where the naming changed to just be tt which makes it a bit harder to understand the inner context without looking at the outer scope or making assumptions. This is subjective for sure, I just personally prefer explicitness as I'm reading over code to small abbreviations. Was this done for a particular reason?

This was already a common naming convention around the codebase, so I'm just using it in more places here.

The TurboTasks type is pretty common, and turbo_tasks is a pretty long name.

In this specific case, we need a clone of turbo_tasks to move into the future. Previously this was using the name tasks_ref, which is not a common name for this value.

…rc to DetachedVc (#80881)

- Introduce `NextTurbopackContext` for use later in #81272 . In this PR, it's just a thin single-field wrapper, but we add callbacks to it in the next PR.
- Wrap all the places we pass around `NextTurboTasks` in this new `NextTurbopackContext` type.
- `VcArc` was a bit vague of a name, the important thing its that the `Vc` is detached from the turbo-tasks graph. `DetachedVc` matches the prefixed naming of `ResolvedVc` and `OperationVc`.
